چکیده

Natural hybridization between Asplenium incisum and A. ruprechtii has been observed in Northeast Asia its allotetraploid species, castaneoviride , was reported. However, the process parental species origin of taxon remains obscure. Additionally, systematic affinities recently described hybrid bimixtum considered to have originated from trichomanes is unresolved owing similarity . The goals this study were (1) investigate ; (2) verify occurring Korea, whether it independently arose 2x sterile hybrids; (3) elucidate reliability identifying Three genotypes, their hybrid, identified based on nuclear gene pgiC sequence finally divided them into six types by ploidy levels: diploid four (diploid × triploid ). In analyses plastid DNA, all hybrids had an -type rbcL gene. addition, plastomes high pairwise identities greater than 98.48%. They increased up 99.88% when a large deletion x castaneoriviride (2x) collected Buramsan populations ignored. Notably, also found same populations. Sequence data genes showed that unidirectional, maternal parent. rpoC2-rps2 commonly different population suggests can be created hybrids. We assume both polyploidization driving allopolyploidy minority cytotype exclusion took place population, since A castaenoviride co-occurs with small Furthermore, enlarged noncoding region fern organelle (ENRIFO) plastome genus

Flavonol glycosides from Asplenium foreziense and its five related taxa and A. incisum.

The flavonoids of Asplenium foreziense, A. fontanum subsp. fontanum and subsp. pseudofontanum, A. obovatum subsp. obovatum var. obovatum and var. protobillotii, A. obovatum subsp. lanceolatum, and A. incisum were isolated and identified for chemotaxonomic survey. A major constituent of all taxa was kaempferol 3-O-gentiobioside. As minor compounds, kaempferol 3,7-O-glycoside and/or kaempferol 3-...

Asplenium merapohense (Aspleniaceae), a new species from the Peninsular Malaysia

A new species of Asplenium is described from two collections made on limestone hills in Peninsular Malaysia. Conspicuous by its extremely narrow pinnae, it is probably allied to A. salignum but differs in sufficient characters (scale size, size and shape of lamina, venation and sorus length, position and orientation) to be a species in its own right.

Isozyme variation and genetic relationships among taxa in the Asplenium obovatum group (Aspleniaceae, Pteridophyta).

The Asplenium obovatum group consists of diploid and tetraploid taxa; the origin of the tetraploid A. obovatum subsp. lanceolatum was previously considered to have occurred via autopolyploidy, involving one of the diploids of the group, either A. obovatum subsp. obovatum var. obovatum or var. protobillotii. To test this hypothesis, electrophoretic analyses of eight enzyme systems encoded by fou...

Antioxidant, Larvicidal, and Cytotoxic Studies on Asplenium aethiopicum (Burm. f.) Becherer

The present study was intended to determine the antioxidant, larvicidal, and cytotoxic potential of various extracts of Asplenium aethiopicum (Burm. f.) Becherer. Antioxidant potential of the extracts was determined by the DPPH radical scavenging, phosphomolybdenum, and scavenging of H2O2. Larvicidal activity of Asplenium aethiopicum was performed against the fourth instar larvae Culex quinquef...
